Hi I just registered for your site as of about... well 30 seconds ago give or take. I'm a university student majoring in Asian Studies. Reading Manga when I should be studying is one of my many vices.

I'm a huge fan of Seiken no Katanakaji. I saw that you guys were the translators and wanted to stop by. Thanks so much for the great work you all do. Nice to meet you all (well virtually anyway).

Great preemptive strike! I figured it was something like that. I try to be patient and kind to the generous souls who help feed my addiction. Every since I started studying Japanese I began to appreciate how much work translating takes!

Depending on the manga, cleaning and typesetting can be even more work than translation.

Especially when most of the dialogue is directly over the art instead of in bubbles.
